The Working Holiday visa for Portugal is a bilateral agreement between Chile and Portugal that allows Chilean citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 to live and work in Portugal for up to 12 months. This program is designed to foster cultural exchange and allow participants to finance their stay through temporary work.
The visa has an initial duration of 4 months and can be extended twice, reaching a maximum period of 12 months. Once the maximum 12-month period has expired, it is not possible to renew the visa or return to the country under this program.
🇵🇹 For Portugal, this visa can be applied for by people between 18 and 30 years of age who meet the following specific requirements:
- Not being accompanied by people who depend on them.
- Possess a valid Chilean passport with an expiration date of more than 12 months.
- Not have a criminal record.
